Taking care of documentation
Despite the fact that Curaçao is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, you will have to submit an official wedding application. Fortunately, we have lots of experience with these applications and have good contacts with the Curaçao registry of births, deaths, and marriages.
To start with, a written application has to be submitted to the Curaçao registry of births, deaths, and marriages at least three months before the wedding. Generally, the application is processed within two weeks.

According to the Curaçao rules you have to report to the Curaçao registry of births, deaths, and marriages at least three days before the wedding in order to identify yourselves, but because BanKasa is the authorized person this identification duty does not apply.

We will also plan a meeting with the registrar who will solemnize your marriage.
Six witnesses are required for a wedding ceremony on location. All of them have to be at least eighteen years old and all of them need to have a valid passport. If necessary, we can always provide extra witnesses.
